What kind of blogger are you?

I saw this blog analyzer called The Typealyzer over at Jace's blog called Jace Scribbles. [Jace also has a second blog titled Jace Makes where she blogs about things she crafts such as beautiful book thongs, book marks, and other items made from paper, beads, and embroidery floss. She even opened an Etsy shop! Very cool.]

Jace's results indicated that she one of The Doers type bloggers: the active and playful type. She thought the description was a really accurate assessment, so I thought I'd give it a go. The easiest part is that it isn't even a poll. You just need to enter the url of your blog and the program analyzes your blog content.

This is what came up for me, and I have to say, I believe it is quite accurate for me, as well.

The Artists

The gentle and compassionate type. They are especially attuned their inner values and what other people need. They are not friends of many words and tend to take the worries of the world on their shoulders. They tend to follow the path of least resistance and have to look out not to be taken advantage of.

They often prefer working quietly, behind the scene as a part of a team. They tend to value their friends and family above what they do for a living.

What kind of blogger are you? Do you think your results are an accurate indicator of your blogging type? Visit The Typealyzer and find out!

  2. Woah cool! Apparently Ana and I are "The Idealists". BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!

The meaning-seeking and unconventional type. They are especially attuned to making sure their beliefs and actions are congruent. They often develop a passion for the arts or unusual forms of self-expression.

They enjoy work that are aligned to their deeply felt values and tend to strongly dislike the more practical and mundane forms of tasks. They can enjoy working alone for long periods of time and are happiest when they can immerse themselves in personally meaningful projects.

I guess this is true. Especially the last paragraph :p

  3. I got:

    ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

  4. I'm a "doer." I loved this: "They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through." Obviously it analyzed my last blog post about all of my UFOs, LOL! But I take serious issue with the line: "...and engaging in physical out-door activities." Oh, that is so NOT me!!

WaSW update: P. 203! I've turned that magic corner and I have some ideas about why. We've had 2 straight snow days here and I've actually been sewing up a storm. And when I read, it's a trade or large print on the treadmill as they're easier than the small print in WaSW. Stay warm!

I was checking out Jace's blog and I had to order one of those cute bookmarks! I love those. Very cute!

  6. Yay!! I'm so glad you guys tried this. I love reading all of your results and deciding if I agree with them or not.

Barbara:: Can't wait to see what you get!

Thea:: LOL!! I think that is TOTALLY you and Ana! =)

p.s. I owe you an email... sorry! I'll write back this afternoon... I promise!

Wendy:: Oh wow! I can actually relate to a lot of that. Do you think it suits you?

Phyl:: LOL! See? Perfect for you! .... or anyone else with UFOs or TBRs! ;)

Ah... you got to the 200 page mark. Interesting...
Good for you reading on the treadmill. At that point, I'd just listen to audiobooks! LOL!

  9. Hmmm. Apparently I'm a 'Doer'. I have to be honest, that is so not me. Playful? Nup.

Christine - I owe you an email. I will try and get to it ASAP!

  11. I got "The Performer," as well! :-P

At first, I wasn't so sure, but it makes sense, the more I think about it. (I think it's the youngest child in me! lol)

btw...yeah, i had a real hard time not laughing while putting the squishy in question in timeout at The Happiest Place On Earth! lmao
I took a picture! If I ever get my pc memory working right, I will down the pics and post that one at least as you can't see his face! It's too cute for words...just don't tell him that! lmao!!

  18. I saw this one Jace's blog too. We are one in the same I guess since I'm in The Artists group also. Isn't it weird how accurate the results are?

  19. Oh my good lord--thank you so very much for the link to Jace's blogs.

    Love love love them!!!

  20. Wendy:: I thought it suited your blog, too... but didn't want to say so in case you didn't agree with the results? Ha!

orannia:: I think you're the first who doesn't think your results match your blog. But remember the results apply only to your blog, so really.... maybe you blog a bit differently than you do other things in your life? I don't necessarily think that of your blog... I'm just suggesting food for thought. ;)

p.s. I thought I owed you an email! LOL! But I always love hearing from you so type away even if it's my turn to write you... ;)

Lea:: I'm so glad you played! It's good to know I've got a Senior Mechanic on my team! ;P

Renee:: Another 'Performer'! It's interesting what our blogs reflect about us, isn't it?

Jace:: You're very welcome. ;) Thanks for posting the Typealyzer. This was a lot of fun! And a huge 'Phew' on my side for not getting the 'Lazy Blogger'!

dd03:: I checked out your results. I think it's neat that your two different blogs gave you different results. By the way... isn't it illegal to give time-outs within the gates of Disney? It's in the fine print. :P

Kmont:: Another 'Artist'! I think it suits you as well. Although, I can also see a bit of the 'Idealist' (like the Book Smugglers) in your blog as well. :)

azteclady:: Hey! I'm so glad you checked out Jace's blogs! She's so creative, very sweet and well... my friend! :)
