Relaxing at Blue Lagoon in Iceland [photo credits go to my husband] |
Blue Lagoon .. a geothermal hot spring in Grindavik, Iceland. It was blissful.
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful little getaway in Iceland. I'm going to share more about it very soon and when I do.. I think you're going to want to add Iceland to your bucket list by the time I'm done!
Wow! Glad to hear the trip went well!
ReplyDeleteWow. Great shot. Can't wait to hear all about the trip.
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely awesome!

I kind of want to go to Iceland, actually, I think you can see the Northern Lights there.
I'm dying to get some photos up and tell you what we did.. those of you who hang out with me on instagram have seen bits and pieces already. I just need to find a couple of hours.. and then try not to fall asleep! ha!
ReplyDeleteAlex, Yes, you can see the Northern Lights in Iceland and YES! We saw them!!! Phenomenal!
Catherine Hey!! Thanks for popping over here!!!
I love that pic my husband took of me in the Blue Lagoon. He brought an underwater camera along on this trip JUST for photos at the Blue Lagoon. ;)
Really? Is that where you've disappeared? Awesome!! LOL, makes up for the trip last year right? :P
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesime getaway! Was it planned or did you get surprised?
ReplyDeletePaula
Your trip sounds so very cool. Iceland is on my top 10 want-to-visit list.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteYAH for a getaway!
ReplyDeleteIceland is already on my bucket list, so I'm sure you're just going to make me drool.... ;-)
ReplyDeleteBUCKET LIST!!! Also, you look incredible.
ReplyDeleteIceland?! Really?! Ok...didn't you have a stopover with your girls over the summer? Or am I having a brain moment? But YES--I NEED to know more!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! I'm so sorry I STILL haven't posted pictures and details about our trip to Iceland in March. I've been SO busy lately and haven't had much time to blog or socialize online. It's the pits!
ReplyDeletePaula It was planned. My husband had to convince me to do it, though, because it was our first time leaving the girls and I was freaked out.
lisabea aw, thanks. *blushes*
Trish Yes, really! We did have a family stopover in Iceland last summer with the whole family.. my husband and I knew we wanted to go back and WE DID! He was determined to go during an optimum time to see the Northern Lights, which explains why we went now. :)
