BOOK REVIEW:
I still have Salvation in Death on the nightstand bookmarked to page twenty something and haven't picked it up in several weeks. So no review from me this month.. :(

SERIES DISCUSSION:
This month's series discussion is extremely self-serving.

How do I get out of this In Death reading slump I'm in?

I'm stuck and I can't move forward! Help!

If anyone has series discussion suggestions, please drop me an email. I have shiny new social media icons up at the top of my sidebar. Just click on the little mail icon and zip me an email.

  2. Marg I'm so determined to get caught up in this series, but can't bring myself to get motivated to read the books lately. But I know once I get into the read ... I'm hooked.

  3. I finally finished with Promises in Death (#28). It was really nice to be back in their world! I was supposed to order more ID books right away, but somehow didn't... I should have just kept reading them, because now there's once again that obstacle of picking up the next book. And it feels so difficult with all the other lovely books waiting to be read :/

Maybe to get out of your slump, do a quick re-read of a favorite ID book. You don't even have to read the whole book, just favorite parts. Maybe that will get you in the mood. :)

  5. Oh dear, I'm late!

I hope you had the most wonderful of birthdays--and that there are twice as many coming your way! ;_

    1. And of course I posted the bday greeting on the wrong thread--typical me :sheepish:

For the In Death reading slump: if you find the time, grab whichever of these is your favorite and try a reread. I find that immediately gets me wired to get the newest one. Best of luck with it!

  6. Maija, I hear a lot of people love Promises in Death so I'm looking forward to getting into that one. If only I could get past Salvation in Death. I'm going to force myself to read 60 pages over the weekend.. how much do you want to bet I get into it then and read it pretty quickly from there? That always happens to me!

Leslie, That's a good suggestion! I usually turn to Naked in Death for that. I love those first encounters between Eve and Roarke. *sigh*

azteclady, Hey I will take comments on any post! Haha! ;) Thanks for the bday wishes. :)

You give the same advice as Leslie. I will try that if I can't get back into Salvation in Death after 60 pages. I hope it works. I need to move on and I'm tired of seeing that book on my nightstand every night! lol!
