AND a trinket souvenir from the London Olympics! Woohoo!
OR
The Glossy Prize: [US or international]
A shiny new mass market paperback of your choice, shipped to you via TheBookDepository.
OR
The Modern Prize: [US or international]
An ebook of your choice, valued up to $10, delivered to you by the magic of technology.
To see what books I'm offering for the cozy prize, please visit my gift shelf.
To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment in this post telling us which summer Olympic games are your favorite?
I honestly could be thoroughly entertained watching them all. Some of my favorites, though, are swimming, diving, volleyball [beach and court], track and gymnastics. I'm also interested in following the triathlon and cycling events after having competed in a sprint triathlon last summer myself. ; )
Will you be watching the games over the next couple of weeks?
Giveaway is open everyone, although international winners can only receive The Glossy Prize.
Giveaway ends on August 7, 2012 at 11:59 pm EST, at which time I'll use random.org to select the winner. Winner will be announced in a separate post and I'll also leave a comment here on this post, so be sure to subscribe to comments if you enter.
Winners have one week to claim their prize, after which a new winner will be selected.
Good luck! :)

I will most definitely be watching the games. Gymnastics is probably my favorite although I like watching all of them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites for the summer olympics are the gymnastics and track and field events. The others I'll watch though.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch the Olympics! I enjoy almost all of the games. Will probably watch soccer most 'cause of the guys but I've eagerly watched the gymnastics ever since first seeing Mary Lou Rettin all of those years ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas!!
I love the women's gymnastics. I always have!

Track & Field (as a former track athlete that's my fave) and then of course Gymnastic as a former gymnastics and cheerleading athlete this is my absolute fave to watch.
ReplyDeleteI've always like gymnastics, but after going to the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, I'm kinda interested in fencing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer Olympics games are cycling, diving, and tennis! I am sure to watch the Olympics this summer.

Don't enter me!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of looking forward to watching a sampling of everything. I just don't have the patience to watch everything.
I don't have cable, so I won't be watching much, but I will probably try to catch some gymnastic highlights online.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge olympic nut!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite are Swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, gymnastics, volleyball and a tad of everything else :D
Christmas?! Don't say it, it'll get here too fast :p
ReplyDeleteI always loved gymnastics and the sync swimming, boy does hubby rib me on that, telling me how it reminds him of SNL with Martin Short and the other guy, maybe Harry Shearer, doing their goof on it.
Paula
Ha, I managed to make it!! Yay!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm guessing you mean disciplines right? I watch everything that they broadcast, although I'm not super fond of team sports for some reasons. Gymnastics is one that I enjoy a lot, heptathlon, canoe/kayak/rowing and diving. LOL, I mean, seriously, there is just soo much!!
Hey everyone! Thanks for entering my Christmas in July FIVE giveaway. I recently got back from vacation and decided to extend the deadline to enter the giveaway until Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 11:59 AM EST. I'll draw a winner then.
ReplyDeleteHm. I've been on holiday over the last 2 weeks and watching the Olympics pretty much constantly. My favourite events would have to be the gymnastics and the swimming, but I also like the diving and the equestrian, and pretty much all the field events :) And the rowing ('cause we rock at that :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, folks. I used the List Randomizer at Random.org to determine the winner of the giveaway and the lucky winner is Sarah! Congrats, Sarah. Please email me at krauscakes at verizon dot net with your prize choice. Thanks to everyone for entering!
