  10. Hi Christine,
I hope your day was as wonderful as your dinner sounded!

Ours turned out very nicely. I cooked my best turkey yet! I never thought to cook rice, and we are huge rice eaters, maybe that's why?

I have to work this morning! It ought to be interesting :).

  14. Thanks for all of your lovely Thanksgiving greetings! I hope all of you had a wonderful day, too. I had hopped to visit all of your blogs yesterday, but once I sat down at the end of the evening, I was too sleepy!

We had a really nice day and a delicious meal. I ended up not making the Carmelized Pearl Onions because I ran out of time and they were a pain in the you-know-what to peel. I'll make them over the weekend and maybe serve them with steak and those brussels sprouts I still have. Everything else was homemade from scratch, except the Coconut Custard Pie that I bought at the last minute for my husband since he doesn't particularly care for pumpkin or apple pies. I had a lot of fun cooking all that food! Almost as much fun as eating it all! :)

By the way, if you've got leftover turkey in your fridge and you're looking for a new way to serve it up, I just posted a recipe for Turkey Quesadillas with Brie and Cranberry Sauce. I had it for lunch today. Yum!
