Challenge: Read all of the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich between July 23, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
I wavered whether or not to join this challenge. I read the first three Stephanie Plum novels last fall and while I did enjoy them and will probably eventually read the rest of the novels, I really don't know if I'm so into them that I'd catch up in the entire series by the end of 2010. But what's a challenge if it isn't challenging, so what the heck.
1. One For the Money read in 9/09
2. Two For the Dough read in 11/09
3. Three to Get Deadly read in 12/09
4. Four to Score read in 3/10

Yikes! How many are there again?
My best friend at work keeps trying to get me to read the Stephanie Plum books. One day I will give in.
ReplyDeleteThanks (I think) for giving me yet another blog to add to my reader!
Phyl, you know you just set yourself up to be pressured into doing this challenge with me, right?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you should do it with me. I suspect it's going to be a stretch for me to catch up in this series by the end of the year, but I'll keep reading them until I finish the challenge... even if it's in 2011 that I do. So you can be a slacker with me if you want to. ;p
J.Kaye's blog is great. Not only does she host some awesome (and very popular!) challenges, but she reads from all over the genre spectrum. And a whole lot of other cool things. Like a Twitter Read-Along! I'm going to try to do one later this month with her with Deeper by Megan Hart.
No. No, no, no. You will NOT pull me into another long series I haven't read. No.
ReplyDeleteMaybe. I have book 1 on my iPhone.
Oh see... now you HAVE to do this and the library challenge. Between the In Death books and the Stephanie Plum books... that's nearly 50 books! THREE challenges for the price of .. well. .. two. LOL.
ReplyDeleteC'mon. Keep me company. Everyone else has read these books already but us. *bats eyelashes*
One for the Money was on the shelf at the library. Probably a sign. I checked it out. Sigh. Now I'll obsess over it.
ReplyDeleteYES! Definitely a sign. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to pick up FOUR TO SCORE on my next library trip.
LOL! Welcome to this reading challenge. I just picked up book four this last weekend.
ReplyDeleteThese are fun books. :)
I'm safe from this challenge. I've already read them all. *G* Best wishes for good reading!
ReplyDeleteHi J.Kaye!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the welcome. I just got book four tonight.
Brandy, I like the way you say you're 'safe' from this challenge. Like I'd MAKE you do it with me otherwise. Twist your arm or worse! Nag you! ;)
You are EVIL!!!!
ReplyDeleteLori, I am the Official Evil Book Challenge Pimp. ;o)
ReplyDeleteI have read every book by Janet Evanovich including her romance ones. She is so funny, I think that once you get into it, you will very much enjoy reading her Plum series :)
ReplyDeleteHi Teena!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you stopped by again. I popped over to your blog the other day and got distracted before I left a comment. Sorry about that!
I have the fourth book on my nightstand, but probably won't get to it until February. I'm always amazed at how many people really love this series. Where was I when everyone was keeping up with all of these books? Even the books from the library are so well read that the bindings are falling apart! LOL.
