Your review for this book has lingered with me over the last year about wanting to read something of hers. But I didn't think Tempted was the right book for me to start with. I'm start with Stranger. I'm glad to hear that she has impacted you so much with her storytelling. I'm really looking forward to reading her books. Profound and moving is not easy to come by and when reviews seem to say the same thing over and over again about Megan Hart's books...well, it's time I finally try one.Amy Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12832983748006739171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3661609629555743722.post-36068472989451431362008-03-09T22:10:00.000-04:002008-03-09T22:10:00.000-04:00Okay, anyone who seriously can't read it without k...Okay, anyone who seriously can't read it without knowing the ending (spoilsports!!!) can always email me at readinbed AT gmail.com

:)

And thanks again to Christine for the review and letting me know she put it up.

I don't have a sequel entirely plotted or even submitted, but I am thinking of one...not that it will be a hardship to write more about Alex!

MAuthorMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06341063492619003784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3661609629555743722.post-29379925510398547522008-03-08T11:32:00.000-05:002008-03-08T11:32:00.000-05:00Thanks for all of your responses! I can see a lot of people having different feelings about a lot of the issues and would make for some great discussions. There is an awesome Dueling Review of Tempted on Dear Author that prompted an excellent discussion of the book. But there are a lot of spoilers there... so don't read it if you are spoilerphobic like me! It seems as though I'm going to have to get over myself and read this one.

I've read Dirty (which I recommend) and Broken is on it's way as we speak.

Interesting news about a potential sequel. That might make me feel better about reading Tempted. I think, as a romance reader, I want total closure; no what-ifs/ what-might-have-beens. I'm just selfish and wanted in their heads, too! But then perhaps the story wouldn't have been as thought provoking... and that's why you're the writer and I'm the reader! ;o)

I think a sequel would be very interesting... Alex is a very unique and compelling (and sexy) character. I really appreciate it.

I've had other people say the ending disturbed them, or that they wanted to know more about James and Alex. All I can say is:

It was Anne's story. It came out as Anne's story and while I do see that learning more about James and Alex would be intriguing, in the end her voice is what came out and what she knew and thought and felt was the book I wrote.

I've had a lot of interest in a sequel, particularly to give Alex some more story, and that idea interests me a lot. I liked his character very much and hadn't planned a sequel until people started asking for one, but I can absolutely see where he went and what happens to him.

At any rate, I'm glad the book worked for you and made you think. That's really all and author can ask for, and I thank you so much for taking the time to read it.

:)

Hope you like the others!

MAuthorMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06341063492619003784noreply@blogger.com
